We did not really plan on training Kalinka in dog agility however we keep looking for an alternative for frisbee. We have been practicing regularly but we are not sure if we will ever make it to the competition. This could be another way of fulfilling Kalinka’s needs. Wolfdogs are not the best, the fastest, but quite or precise. Dog agility requires full cooperation between dog owner and dog. Kali needs to learn how to read my signs and I have to learn how to lead her through the route. There are only a few who practice dog agility with wolfdogs. We decided to follow trainings at Dogs’ Sports Club Artemis. We have now replaced the food rewards with a ball. It is a lot of fun and working hand in hand with Kalinka becomes more and more interesting.
